CWC IN THE NEWS

CWC Membership Tea was a successful event. We had 36 members and 24 guests for a total of 60 in attendance. We played games, had a hat parade and contest, and honored past club presidents. The guest soloist, Melody Pierson, is a ten-year-old with a voice beyond her years. An extraordinary entertainer, she sang “This Girl is on Fire.” A good time was had by all!

The Carson Women's Club first scholarship fundraiser of the year was a rousing success! From February 2nd to the 6th, in just 4 days of selling Double Good Gourmet popcorn, we raised $13,399 in popcorn purchases and online donations, 50% of which comes to the club! Thank you to all those who setup pop-up stores, shared store links, bought popcorn and/or made donations!

On Saturday, January 31, 2026, the Carson Women's Club (CWC) installed the newly elected officers for 2026-2027. After an unprecedented four years as the CWC president, Shawn Eure handed over the reins of leadership to Loretta Graham Gay. Please help me congratulate all of the officers.
